Surrounded by Sea An archipelago composed by nine volcanic islands. All very different from each other but with one thing in common, its beautiful green landscapes. Terceira has been one of all visitor’s favourite for many years now.

The city of Praia da Vitória is internationally recognised thanks to Lajes Air Base. It dates to the Second World War, period during which it was a safe harbour through the conflict and was able to put Portugal on the map.
